I tried the demo and loved it so i got the full version and just got version 3.0 which is fantastic. so easy to use to create drum tracks, i am blown away.

seems to convert all the tabs i want to play perfectly and i love the playback features like looping and slowing down so i can jam harder grooves with it
Cons
printing to pdf didn't work right at first but i downloaded primopdf and then it worked fine

Please listen to me. The only bad reviews for this software say that it only has 4 measures of playback, you can't print, and you can't save. Those are the features of the full version, this is the free demo. If you buy it, you'll get all of the amazing features of this, don't expect everything with the free version, that's why this is a demo.
Cons
The only con isn't really a problem with it, just something people should watch out for. Copying tabs and converting is easy, but using audio files and midi is pretty advanced, and you might get frustrated.

It is attractive and seems to do a good job at reading the tab files.

1-Downloaded and installed and launched. Got a button saying my time had run out and download a new version. This didn't work.<p>2 - Went to their site and downloaded from there. Reinstalled and it worked. <p>Picked a tab, looped it and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get more than 4 measures (about 15 seconds) of sounds.<p>3 - Turns out it is that crippled! I don't think the authors care much about their potential customers, though I noticed their site is updated to 2008.<p>Summary: Less legal an more functionality please.

Pros
i love this program. i was loosing interest in drumming a bit and the drum lessons were expensive, boring and not getting anywhere. i've learned more with tabtrax on 3 days than 1 year of drum lessons. now i can learn new songs at my own pace and really expand into different styles.

none that i know of, installed and ran without a hitch and never crashes
