Backing up your data to a remote server can replace or supplement a special storage device, and SystemRecovery Online Backup helps you do just that. The downloadable software links up to the online service and demonstrates how it works. Transfer speed fluctuated between 20 and 50 Kbps on our broadband connection. The interface is a bit confusing, especially when you're picking files to back up or setting backup rules. The program helps you save money by scheduling backups during off-peak hours, compressing files, and transferring only changed or new files. It works well in a multiuser environment. Dual-level protection using encryption keys and account passwords prevents unauthorized access, but you can still share folders with other accounts. We recommend SystemRecovery Online Backup if you need to work from several PCs in remote locations.

"Sosonline bait and switch tatics"

product sounds great but the service stinks.
Cons
Signed up. Was told to send a hard drive with data. Was told this would take a few days. One month later, no response to phone calls. No download of data from hard drive. Customer service worst I have encountered in long time.
Summary
Unless you are a large company, they are unresponsive to your needs. Even if I worked for a large entity, I would also never sign a yearly contract. They would then have no incentive to service your account. If the upfront customer service during the set up is this bad, I can only speculate on the level of tech support. I would highly recommend that you look at other backup services- a nice looking web site is equivalent to a putting lipstick on this pig.

Pros
Truly free to try. No bait and switch by requiring credit card upfront. Simple to download, install and backup. Great for my small business. It removed the burden off my shoulders to remember to backup since it does it for me.
