SynergyKM is a GUI wrapper around the Synergy project. The goal of SynergyKM is to give users the most "Mac like" experience while using Synergy. Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems without special hardware. It's intended for users with multiple computers on their desk since each system uses its own display. SynergyKM consists of a preference pane and menu extra. The installer includes the latest version of Synergy, so no extra downloads are required.

This software allows you to easily control several machines with one central keyboard mouse.. your mouse space is all desktops together

it is not part of MacOSX intrinsically

Pros
Seamlessly shares mouse and keyboard between my PC and MAC. The Mac is new to me this year, and it is wonderful to use synergy between PC and Mac. Snowleopard caused the menu bar icon to go away in the previous version, so this update is great.
Cons
I was using the old version with snow leopard so the installation had a little bump. I tried again and it upgraded just fine.
Summary
I've been using synergy for years with PCs, sometimes 3 to 4 at a time. Now I use it to share my PC mouse and keyboard with my Mac. It is super - it does everything it is supposed to do - i'd be lost without it.
