ITunes Preferences will do the same
chief0- Pros
- I've been looking for a way to do this for awhile.
- Cons
- Not necessary since you can get the same results in iTunes Preferences
- Summary
- To have iTunes perform this same function: To prevent automatic syncing for all iPod, iPhone, and iPad devices: In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences. Click Devices. Select "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically." If this checkbox is selected, any connected iPod, iPhone, or iPad won't sync automatically, even if "Automatically sync" is selected in the Summary pane. To sync your iPod, iPhone, or iPad when automatic syncing is disabled, connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer, and then click Sync in iTunes. You can sync your device with only one iTunes library at a time. For more information, see the iPod, iPhone, or iPad User Guide or the Apple Support website.
