Professional transcriptions can use it as a wave player to create transcripts of audio and video files. Subhash VCDPlayer uses Window Media Player under the hood. However, it takes Windows Media Player to surreal heights of functionality and ease of use. This has been made possible by borrowing a few ideas from IrfanView (file browsing), Winamp (system tray icon capabilities) and CyberLink PowerPlayer (keyboard shortcuts and still-image capture), and combining them with a slew of unique features of its own.
