I submitted a directory of HTML files for compression. It reduced them by ERASING their content, resulting in file size 0 for all of them! No warning. Thank GOD I had copied the directory first.

I tried compressing four noisy JPEGs, it removed exactly 48 bytes from each one. Essentially a big waste of time for no payoff.
1,100 pictures scanned, did nothing.

I had it scan a folder that had 1,100 jpg's. It took forever, and when done, said none needed cleaning. 1,100 perfectly clean jpg's??? Not likely.

The program removes the redundant information these files often contain, helping your pages load more quickly and reducing bandwidth requirements. Integrates with Explorer, too--just right-click on a selected file or folder, then click 'Strip' to begin compression.
