- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Strider is an excellent RSS reader, but its behavior is somewhat lacking. Clicking the dock icon should logically open a new reader window if no window is open. It doesn't do anything. Likewise, opening a new window should be possible by using command + n. Instead you use command + o which should arguably be used to either open a particular article in a new browser or open a list of bookmarks. Additionally, there is no logical hotkey for toggling detail view. Functionally, it's excellent--it handles feeds well, the in-app article browsing works perfectly, and it's seach capabilities are reasonable. The Growl notifier support is good as well.
