• Beware of ImageMatics un-advertised policies!

  The program works fine as long as they honor the license you bought.

  Cons

  When they no longer support their program. They lock you out of using your program that is fully paid for. Their software/program is designed that way (I found out).

  Summary

  I bought the PE and Pro single license. I was very content with the performance of the software program until.... The only problem I didn't like (after having the experience that they conveniently didn't tell me about) that if you were to install it on another computer (My old computer died) you had to re-contact Imagematics (in itself is a major issue? just read the other reviews on other sites) so they could reset their system/url to reissue my license code (that I've already paid for twice). Well, I found out now that they no longer support PE or the Pro for which I didn't mind, I just wanted my software/program unlocked. I didn't want help from them that required support, I just wanted them to fix their URL site. Their site ONLY authorizes my program (THEY DESIGNED) to re-initialize. If you remove the software from one computer and want to install it on another computer, you are now SCREWED! After all, it's already paid for. They refuse to help me? So much for the license. Their programs are setup to go out to their site to confirm your license when first installed on any computer. If they change their site information for your program, YOU'RE SCREWED! It works till they don't support it. I've had many programs that were not supported (after a time) but you could still use it since you paid for it. For those that might be looking for a program you can count on. I now would say stay clear of IMAGEMATICS. The license is only good as long as they decide so. My other advice would be never, never, never buy a program that requires their program to contact the company's website for authorization to work. If so, then they got you! If you can't simply install the license code into the program at home, etc. Then BEWARE! They can decide at anytime to make your program useless.

• Ripoff and no support

  Downloaded trial and it worked. I then paid for the full version (needed it urgently), and received an email to unlock the product. After unlocking, program still inserts spoiler and says that upgrade needs to be purchased. Emails, first for support, then for refund to both the email addresses on their website go unanswered. $50 down the drain and a missed deadline, stay away from this product. Tip: many video editing softwares have similar functions built-in nowadays.

  A lot of features for your money. No problems with creating slideshows or producing stand-alone CDs/DVDs with the software.

  Could use updates for newer operating systems.

  Pros

  Was easy to download and seemed easy to use until I tried to burn my slide show.

  Cons

  Could not get it to copy files to cd-r,or dvd+r or any other disks.Now no programs that have to do to burniing cds or dvds on my brand new dell insperation 1525 work.

  Summary

  I now think I,m going to have to set my new lap top back to the factory default and lose all files on it because I no longer can burn anything.The dell tech help says I have a software problem now.I paid for this program and now my whole computer is screwed.I phoned and talked to company who sold it to me and they are not returning my money and told me to read the help tutorial.---------STAY AWAY FROM----- I,m really regreting this download big time

  As someone who recently got married, a lot of people have been sending me photos of the event. This piece of software helped me be able to present the photos in a manner which everyone can appreciate.

  Thank you Imagematics for this great program. <p>As a novice webmaster, Imagematics has enabled me to create unique and beautiful slide shows in a short period of time with great transitions between slides, <p>adding music to the slides shows including titles and captions. <p>The few problems I did have with learning the program was immediately rectified when I called the tech help, which answered all my questions immediately and the problems were easily rectified.. • Perfect for Our Website

  Pros

  Stillmotion's moving slideshows make our company's website look great and lets us put our merchandise on display for visitors to the site. This program is incredibly easy to use, with lots of menus, and the result is professional in quality. We even added zooms and hotspot graphics. No problems using it with Microsoft Vista, like some programs.

  The program is both easy to use and provides everything we need in one place. Slide show, navigation, animated text, hot spots and user controls, and it works real well under Vista. The context sensitive help and tutorials got me going right away. <p>This software is a great value, too. The price is right and it gets the job done.
