• One suite for everyone

  Pros

  runs on any version of Windows you have. No NET needed. No Java needed. Word processor is without parallel. Saves in RTF format which is more universal than TXT and allows inclusion of pictures etc, It's just the best WP out there.

  Cons

  Doesn't do EVERYTHING that Microsoft Office does. That's the only CON I can think of. Once that's out of the way in your mind there's nothing else to complain about.

  In essence, it's a free Office suite that will serve 99% of the PC users at home or small business.   None because I had to unistall it right away due to a virus.

  Has everything you will ever need. Over 30 very useful applications included.

  Cons

  There aren't really any cons, except that the minimum requirements have changed to the following{according to the official website}: Runs only on Windows 95/98/98SE/NT/2000/XP with a minimum display size of 1024x768.

  Summary

  This is still the best free office suite available for download. Does not need Java or DotNet to run on. Is able to export to a number of document formats. I heard there will be a new office suite released called Excalibur, it is supposed to be fully compatible with Windows Vista and 7.

• Puts UNWANTED CRAP all over your desktop

  Pros

  Without asking, this thing put a whole bunch of unwanted garbage (another big clock, a large list of files, a large taskbar with crappy icons, etc). If you like this kind of stuff you'll love this program.

  Cons

  It wasn't easy to get rid of this stuff as I wasn't sure where it came from at first as it only appeared after restarting the system after several days. Then it wouldn't delete or uninstall the crap. As it also blocked a lot of good icons on the desktop & slowed my system down, it took a good half day to remove and clean my system up to where it was before installing this thing. When I ran my virus (AVG) & malware scans (ad-aware, spybot), they both confirmed that this thing left virus & spyware on my system.

• Desktop hijacker / no uninstall format

  Pros

  This program was never allowed to be used as it attempted to hijack my desktop and did not provide an uninstall option.

  Cons

  Hijacked my desktop setting and over-rode the settings. I had to uninstall at registry level to remove program. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

• This office suite is just Amazing!!

  Pros

  The interface is so easy to use. The zoom option in the word processor makes the text crisp and clear. The mac styled dock at the bottom of the screen let's you access any system command or application with just one click. <p> <p>For such a small download, the over 30 applications including a CD ripper and VOIP telephone, makes this office suite a must to have.

  Cons

  The office suite does not allow custom installation's.
