SSRS Report Upgrader is part of the first suite of SSRS administration tools, specifically developed for the easiest, most efficient way of dealing with routine SSRS administration tasks. SSRS Report Upgrader is not remarkable because it does things no one else can do--it is remarkable that no one else does it. A simple fast tool to do the routine time-consuming tasks when upgrading to later versions of Reporting Services, things you do manually over and over. The questions we ask ourselves most often are: wouldn't it be fantastic to finish this by lunchtime? Why should it take weeks to upgrade SQL Server RDL reports? Why can't it be done in minutes for all reports without schema errors or not well-formed XML? If there are errors, wouldn't it be nice to see what and where they are? How many hours of searching will that save? How easy can it be to go directly to the error, correct it, and move on? How convenient would it be to have a log of all the errors, downloaded into a spread sheet when calculating the time and resources needed to complete the project? Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to manually open each RDL report to check the version and group it with all others, never again forgetting sub-folders? No one needs to be told how strained budgets are these days, and we didn't develop these tools to be on every developer, consultants, IT or Project Managers wish list- we want them to be absolute MUST HAVE. If you need to upgrade Reporting Services RDL Reports, you need SSRS Report Upgrader. We decided to price it accordingly; we asked ourselves one very searching question: Why not offer a return on investment in less than a day? We couldn't think of a good answer for that, so we do.
