It's convenient that SpyWall Anti-Spyware integrates directly into Internet Explorer, but some users might wish for an option to disable the toolbar during the installation process. As a real-time shield, SpyWall Anti-Spyware was almost too reliable at times. Though it prevented almost all malware and Browser Helper Objects from sneaking onto our test PC, it often blocked harmless sites. You may need to spend a bit of time configuring the application to allow certain URLs you frequently visit.

Although its scanning engine could certainly use some work, this antispyware app has an effective real-time shield and a fine set of features.

We did find a number of helpful perks underneath the hood, including a scheduler, automatic definitions updates, logging, and a start-up manager. Unfortunately, the spyware scanner was a bit more disappointing, as it left behind a number of adware components we installed for testing purposes. The one-week trial period also is shorter than we ideally like to see. Savvier users might find this utility useful for its real-time protection and other extras, so long as they don't rely on it as their sole antimalware solution.

bogus reports of software on a brand new OS install
Summary
1st scan reported reg keys for "BonziBuddy" and "AbetterInternet" - The reg keys were definately NOT there. This on a Brand new Vista home premium 64bit install (2 days old) with all secuirity set at a high level - These programs were NOT installed on the machine, so why would there be traces in the registry? I did a complete registry search for each of the reported keys - NONE were there. I also ran thorough scans with other well known products (Malwarebytes & MS SE) - NOTHING THERE ALSO program reported the files as "unclassified" - Part of the scam? These are years old threats & VERY well known. Easily found when looked up. The program requires registration in order to remove the entries. An unsophisticated user might be tempted to purchase as other programs can't find the "infestations"... STAY AWAY!!!

The so-called free trial is non-existent. I downloaded the free trial and was able to scan my computer, but it was useless because the trial version will not remove threats. You have to buy the full product before it cleans them from your computer.
Summary
Don't waste your time downloading this unless you plan to buy it. I might have been willing to buy it if I could have seen first-hand that it works, but since the trial version is useless, I won't waste my money.

Very good scanner that I would place in my top 5 pick. Proactive protection for IE is great. Prevents malware from landing on your computer and makes surfing safe. The interface is ok, but it could be better.

It detects the spyware, but to remove you have to purchase the software first.

None since I was not able to see it solving my problem. I think they should provide free trial with an access to remove the spyware but this way they will lose a lot of customers, we nees to see how it works by removing the spyware then we can buy it
