  I've been using Spyder since the beginning of the year and it's come around quite a bit since then. Right after I started using it version 2.1 came out and it included all these useful features like searching people's comments for active users and support for groups. Now with the latest version I'm able to add real song plays and bump myself up in the charts, something the mp3plays program doesn't do! I'm truly amazed at how quickly the developers fix and improve this program. I'd recommend it for anyone trying to conquer myspace land.

  Spyder is really helping me kick a** and save a huge amount of time in band promotion. I use Spyder everyday for multiple accounts and I can't even imagine going back to managing my MySpace accounts through a web browser again. I just upgraded to the elite license and am very happy with the new proxy support. I've found that setting the delay isn't much of any issue when you use the proxies because they are all typically very slow anyways. When ever I had any questions they were answered quite quickly and the few problems I had were fixed just as quickly as well. Each update gets better and new features seem to spring up frequently.

  This is by far the most complete MySpace marketing tool out there. I wish I had searched harder for Spyder because it's been nothing but pure satisfying success since I started using it to manage all my MySpace accounts.

  This is by far the most complete MySpace marketing tool out there. I was using oCommunity a few years ago and it got several of my accounts deleted. I wish I had searched harder for Spyder because it's been nothing but pure satisfying success since I started using it to manage all my MySpace accounts. I can't even begin to image all the hard work that's gone into this application, I spent weeks writing my own scripts after I ditched oCommunity to do only a small fraction of what Spyder can do. If you need results from MySpace then I highly recommend Spyder, it's worth every time saving cent. I was stupid and paid $300 for the full version of oCommunity which is not even a Mac native application. Spyder which is a native Mac application only costs $79 for everything, and by everything I mean everything any other MySpace tool can do and then some, like the mp3 song plays increaser which actually works towards increasing your rankings in the charts, and I've tried them all. Sure every application could use more features or do something better but we'd be waiting forever and as it stands this application is the best in its class and a better price.

  The updates do not fix existing bugs, they only bring more insects to the already awful dreaded picnic. This guy really wants to be Steve Jobbs. This is THEE worst !!!!! at least Bill GATES' programs work some of the time. RUN RUN RUN RUN !!!!!

  RUN SCREAMING FROM THIS !!!! IT'S A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. The only thing that works right on this program is when you pay for it. Crashes, wrong stat numbers. Locks up, confusing, irrataic, unpredictable processes. Shall I go on ???? NO SUPPORT !!!! A bunch of "Fancy" features that do nothing but complicate already complicated matters !! You would be better off sending postcards by pony express !!! I have accomplished nothing with this "Spyder" program. I HAVE WASTED HOURS instead of saving them as per proposed in the wonderful advertisement.

The new proxy support in the song play increaser works really well. I haven't had a chance to test out the video play increaser yet, but if it works anything like the song play increaser I'll be well on my way to bumping up in the charts! The ability to manage your account with this bot is unparalleled with any other product. Before Spyder I'd be blindly sending friend requests to numbers, not people. Now I can see who I'm sending friend requests to and know that they are actually active on MySpace because I see when they last logged in. Can't wait for Facebook support either!

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />As a user of this program almost daily for well over 2 years, i can report that i've found the developer very responsive and willing to hear and help track down bugs and issue updates. Spyder has saved me countless hours of wasted time by allowing me to skip those stupid captcha codes. I've also been able to improve my ranking in the charts with pro version features. This program is not for the causal myspace user. but for who it's meant, it's a great value and time saver. Very well worth the money. I had some issues running this on 10.5, but since I've moved to 10.6 all of the previous issues have cleared up, which leads me to believe that a lot of the problems where in the OS. At any rate I'd recommend running this on snow leopard for best performance.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I used an older version for a while, which worked fine; gave it up when everybody started to use Captchas. The current version does not do anything, at least not in the tryout version. When I try to log in to one of my accounts, I get a cryptic error message. Spyder now offers Captcha assistance, but they sell each and every Captcha operation for a somewhat outlandish price. You can wind up paying thousands; but I suspect that's an option for mass spammers.

It is also *woefully* buggy, to the point of uselessness in many situations. On top of that, the developer/support has failed to respond to a single polite email that i've sent them. This App has potential, but i would have to say AVOID at the moment
