  each new version has bought better funcutionality of this programs and can only improve as the program ages. I look forward to the day when a program like this can replace the keyboard and offer real freedom.

  Speak-A-Message works as advertised. I find it particularly useful on my mini netbook where typing e-mail is not always handy. Everyone that has received my messages says it is loud and clear. File size attachments are minimal so no problem there.

  Cons

  Adding sound effect background is not too great. I get a popping, static sound but not a big deal because I don't need to send music or sound effects anyway.
