SMemo for Windows

SMemo is a multifunctional calendar that lets you enter important appointments and set reminders for them. You can enter descriptions and customize alerts so that you never miss another important meeting or anniversary, and you'll always know what's on tap.

When you install SMemo, you'll be greeted with the app's intuitive interface in the form of a small calendar with the current date circled. Clicking any day will bring up a view showing any scheduled events or anniversaries and giving you the option to add a new one. When you add an event, a new window pops up where you can enter details like the time of the event, whether you want to be notified in advance (and, if so, how much notice you want), and whether and how often to repeat the event. You can also enter a detailed description of the event or any other relevant information you want to keep track of. Next, pick an alarm sound and an alert type. Alert options include slide, pop-up, and Post-It-type notices.

To access the main menu for the app, just right-click the SMemo icon in the taskbar on the lower right of your desktop. This brings up many options, including quick links for Google, your schedule, anniversaries, MS Paint, and a calculator, as well as some empty spots where you can add other programs you'd like easy access to. Another option lets you choose and set a password, lock your computer, or perform a screen capture.
