Smash Cubix 2014 in 2D 3D 4D- Sequel of sorts to Cubix 2006 in 2D 3D and 4D, geometric puzzle strategy games based on squares, triangle, pyramids, cubes, hypercubes and more. Directly based on 1990's games Cubix, Cubix Squared, The Wall and Tetrix but "smashed" with new better games played on similar levels to the old games and the 2005/2006 versions.
This includes some unrestricted demo levels from the 2D and 4D versions, Flatland Cubix and Hypercube Cubix. With these games you are able to play the same multiples of games on 2D, 3D, and 4D levels based on Squares, Triangles, Hexagons in 2D, as well as Cubes and Pyramids in 3D and 4D levels (curved 3D levels that wrap around on themselves).
About 80% of the games are new to this version away from the 2005/2006 versions and far removed from the Original Cubix, The Wall, and Tetrix games of the 1990's. Those original 3 levels are still included in the game, but the 2D Smash, Super Smash, and Ribbon Smash games from the last version in the 2D levels now dominates the new games added to the 3D as well.
You could say the whole 3D and 4D levels have now been completely "Smashed". New games specific to the 2014 games are Super Smash Plus (this distribution's name, which is one of the new 2D levels, Super Smash Plus in Flatland and Bubbleland (BBL meaning curved 2D space). Also new games include Line Smash, a hybrid of the original line based Cubix games & the new shape based Smash games.
The original 3 games are now the core of the middle of the game, the 3D levels. Cubix Squared is now Cubix Ultra Squared and Ultra Smashed. The Wall game is now Smash the Wall, and Tetrix is now called Smash Tetrix. There are demos of the 2D and 4D versions of Tetrix now as well.
The original Hypercube level has now been "smashed" as well. A bigger "stacked hypercube" level has been added with many other new levels as well. This shareware version is made to demonstrate the logic of how the 2D, 3d and 4D levels fit together. My favorite game within the game, Super Smash Plus, can be played on 2D, 3D & 4D levels.
New cheat modes have been added to Cubix Ultra Squared and Ultra Smashed as well. With the new 3 levels of cheating, you can have the computer admit when there is no good moves left (tells you you will score on the next move) or how many good moves you have left (to let you know what you may be missing). And if you really need help you can even set it to tell you what those good moves are.
