Although it's missing some important features, avid model car collectors will like this application's efficiency. Slot Cars 2000's interface is less than thrilling; nevertheless, the program allows collectors to sort and list cars by characteristics such as model, color, make, and value, plus you can create a for-sale catalog or a wish list for makes you'd like to acquire. Inventory reports may be displayed in HTML format but a basic print option isn't available. In addition to recording your cars' data, you'll also be able to inventory your tracks by brand name and section. While the ability to import images of your cars isn't offered, several Web site links with loads of information are made available. Overall, this easy-to-use freeware lends a hand to anyone trying to get a handle on a chaotic car collection.
