• Good for those lazy times...

  Pros

  Quick creation, easy to understand and use interface, clean look, on-the-fly creation, great tool for when you need to style a template in a hurry for a sample layout or something, I use it when I need a layout for testing and giving examples on-the-fly and don't want to make a style sheet by hand.

  Cons

  Not all selector attributes or properties are available, limited options and customization, when they called it Simple CSS they meant exactly that; it's simple and therefore limited, it's a little buggy at times, not the best or ideal tool for complex or elaborate projects, good tool for beginners to learn with but not all that useful after that (unless you have the same need that I stated above).

  Well, it sort-of may work and if you are lucky you may possibly produce something with it.

  The user interface is very, very slow to use and the application hung before I had the time to save my test work. After two tests I was fed up with the instability.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is a *very* handy tool. Quick, simple, not bloated, and free. I use it in conjunction with HTML-Kit on the PC and with BBEdit on the Mac. There is one suggestion for how this could be improved on both platforms...it would be nice if the code in the Source pane could be copied so that it could be pasted in other documents. I have no need to past into Simple CSS, but I do have the need to copy from it. For anyone considering Simple CSS, don't let this one tiny suggestion disuade you. It's still easy enough to export the code and then copy from the export.

• bin? zip? wich?

  after downloading the file i was faced with a file named "SimpleCSS[1].zip.bin" the problem here is alot of people have file extensions hidden so all they would see is "SimpleCSS[1].zip" wich would not work, i had to change the name removeing the .bin in order to get a zip file, wich only contained the executable. after the program installd it installd both a simple css submenu on the start menu in addition to an extra start menu item that leads to the program executable wich can allready be found in the submenu, thus a waste of valuable start menu space.

  Preview pane didn't work, no copy-paste option in Source Mode so you have to Export code before you can access it. Nice one.
