• FTP - Micrsoft Word - Internal Dictionary

  Pros

  It is easy to use compared to some web-builders. It is truly a what you see is what you get format but you have easy access to the HTML code for adding features of your own, like Bible links, or comment and or address boxes. You can get it free if you sign up with their sponsored Wed Host -- I think they are offering three right now.

  Cons

  1. Does not support Secure Webhosting uploads (No SFTP or FTPS). 2. Spell Checker is crap -- flags caps after commas and will not allow the addition of user words or words not found in the Spell Checker 3. They advertise Microsoft Word intergaration. This is true, you can choose the internal or the external Word to edit, but this is a false positive, it does not save back your editing from MsWord and you have to then go back into the internal editor and correct all of the extra spaces, centering, sometimes fonts, and wierd characters withing the text -- usless.

  Summary

  They say they are coming out with a version 6 but it will not solve any of the problems I mentioned here. I have been using Ewisoft for years and they just have not kept up with those of us wanting an editing generous Web Builder. They have a real nitch here but are not able to improve it for some reason. There are all kinds of Web Builders that will give you fun stuff but not many that make it easy for the author in us, for those of us that want to presetn reams of our own material and studies, etc. Ewisoft Web Builder actually will do this, painlessly, but the tools a writer/author, teacher, acadamic needs are missing. On the other side of looking good, eye candy, for iphones and the like they have fallen behind, way behind, if that is their intent. So, I do not see them filling the needs of either side. Well, I gotta go, I am in search of the perfect Web Builder Software -- so far I am liking Website 5x compact, but it too lacks the ability to upload Secure FTP, unless, they tell me, I upgrade ($80) to the next level Websire 5x Evolution 10 -- there is always something.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 15, 2013<p/>Contacted Ewisoft Support about the Secure FTP uploads to Host and was told -- "Both the ability to SFTP and to turn off scripts will be in the future. I am afraid I do not have any dates for it". They are about to release a version 6 but not with any of corrections to the problems I gave above.

• very very basic. dated colour schemes

  user interface is esy to use. everything else is rubbish! waste of money

  old and dated colour schemes, couldn't even change where i put my logo, i though it would be a flexible software but it is rigid and useless.

  Summary

  try the free download and you'll see what i mean. do not pay for this and make the same mistake i did.

  I didn't find anything good about it..

  Cons

  Expoeriences MANY errors, has to close itself too much, it is easier to use an OLINE site builder with NO errors. . . . . .

  Summary

  After using THIS service, I went back to oline site editors. . . . . BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE: Try using another one, I prefer an oline site builder/editor. . . . . . . . . .

• The Trial version is too limited

  Pros

  I was hoping to get a decent wysiwyg html editor. Seems to be bases on using templates that are supposed to cover all topics, very redundant

  Cons

  There are too many limitations on the Trial version. Only 12 icons are available on the menu bars, and you can't see what they would do if registered. Seems like this program is just asking not to be registered.

  I enjoyed using this piece of software. i get the sense that those in charge of making it are good people. if none of the other 15,500 people who've downloaded won't say so, i will: i appreciate it, keep up the good work
