• Does what it says on the tin

  Pros

  I bought the Office version for under £70 and it's done what I've asked of it so far. Not many products do that these days. I had one small glitch on one particular print job and contacted the Support people who got back to me and sorted the problem same day. It's simple to use for novices like myself and easy to understand and configure. Can't go wrong for 70 quid.

  Cons

  There isn't any Help built in to the product - you get a PDF user guide though and that's pretty thorough.

• Fast, Simple, No Fuss Solution

  Pros

  The great thing about SilentPrint is that you simply paste the documents you want printed in a folder. Just use Windows Explorer or any other file management utility to do the copy and paste and your printing is as good as done! <p> <p>As far as I can see, SilentPrint handles any number of documents you throw at it and it supports a wide range of formats. <p> <p>By far the easiest batch printing solution on the market. 5/5!

• Be careful. The real cost is US 386.00

  Pros

  I liked the software, but the company is in the UK. The US price translates to 386.00. I was under the impression it was $187.00 but that is in pounds. Be careful. It costs twice as much as you would expect. Not work $386.00, barely worth $187.00

• Silently print Document Files in MS Word environment

  Pros

  Seemes to accept quite a few formats, and seems to attempt to print them silently.

  Cons

  Printing must be accomplished on a machine with access to WinWord. It appears that this is windows automation only, and that word is required to be in the environment. <p> <p>Because my environment does not include word, I saw no output at all. Nothing I read in the setup indicated that word was required.
