- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Wow, this is just great! It just does exactly what it says it does, no more, no less, which is exactly what I was looking for. My only quibble is that although its name is "Show & Hide" and the description says: "...freeware to show and hide invisible files," when you use it, for some odd reason the buttons on the control panel read "Make Visible" and "Make Invisible." It really would have made MUCH more sense if they said: "Show Invisibles" and "Hide Invisibles", but that's just a truly minor quibble, it's otherwise really excellent and I recommend it very highly!!
Excellent program

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Needless to say the program does exactly what it says it does! I had used a program called Secret Folder from APIMAC to hide folders which I did with a folder that I called confidential. I am new to mac and when I was the altomatic update of the adobe bridge the computer all of a sudden reverted all to its original setting, just like it came. Uninstalled the new widgets, software that I have installed, my bookmarks, everything. So I was quite desperate to recover my folder and I first installed another program that came listed just above this one called ShowAll.sit but it did not help me, but when I tried this software immediately it showed the folder and all the subfolders inside. I was pretty happy to see that it was all still in my computer. Congratulations for the amazing piece of software that you developed. That's the only one that really showed EVERYTHING!
Absolutely excellent.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Don't listen to any of the negative reviews by some of the "short-bus" users here. I'm using an iBook 900Mhz running 10.4.7 and this program works flawlessly. It does EXACTLY EVERYTHING that I want it to do, which by coincidence, is EXACTLY EVERYTHING that the author said it does; no more, no less. I read the included FAQ (since the author cared enough to include it), made sure that everything was cool, and fired it up. And it's free, to boot. Now, what in the name of Greta does anyone have to complain about? I'm very happy with this cool little utility. And to the utility's author, thank you for posting and sharing it. Rock on.
EXCELLENT

worked like a treat

This really isn't a \"program\"...

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
In fact, this is a very stupid little utility that does nothing other than (1) Make all invisible files/folders visible, or (2) make those same files/folders invisible again. Perhaps someone with a great deal more intelligence than I possess could figure out a reason why you might ever want to do this. If the software--I refuse to call this small monstrosity a "program"--gave any kind of selectivity, I could see some justification for its existence. As it is, it is a complete waste of time and Version Tracker's server space.
