probably the most easy graphics library to use

Pros
very easy to use and easy to customize you can modify the render port you can write your own importers/exporters you can add more functions for modeling very userfriendly interface
Cons
there are no cons really the only thing that would be useful to have is to support NURB surfaces, which I hope will be included with later version
