  Takes about 30 mins to do a scan. Updating is a joke. I have downloaded and deleted it many times over the last years. I keep re-installing it just in case it may improve. But it doesn't seem to.

  Simple to use , up to date , fast scanning & free

  Need impovements & fixes. Crashes a lot after scan is done( excpecially when deleting detected spyware)

  Pros

  Fast scans, deep registry scans, picks up stuff that some of the others miss.

  Cons

  Best when used as 2nd or 3rd scan to pick up any leftovers. Picks up occasional false positives (it detected a MS Money file as spyware). It can be tricky for the beginner to unselect items to be removed, so any false positives may be removed by mistake (I had to re-install MS Money because of this, and I'm no novice!)

  quick download.

  Cons

  install went okay, upon starting program i get a message "active X component can't create object" click ok, get message "Spyware data base not found or invalid".run update and get the same messages. the only thing i can get it to do is run in my system tray.
