A dead product, beware!

This product has been abandoned; you get only the current release (2011?) Bug-ridden, no support.

I have used Score Writer for many years. Sadly, its development and support were abandoned several years ago. WARNING: they still maintain a website and will gladly sell a copy to the unaware (read the fine-print: no refunds; all sales final); it costs them nothing to take your money, but it is a dead product! Their products are bug-ridden, and because there is no longer any pretense of support (despite the presence of a "Forum"; just check the dates on the latest posts: 8 total posts in 2014 for the PC version, 3 for the Mac version; it is DEAD DEAD DEAD). There are pricey and not so pricey alternatives; the key is to go with one that is still actively being supported so you can have some expectation that issues will be addressed and improvements made.
