SCI Java Foto Chat Server is a multithreaded chat server that supports multimedia pictures, sounds, or even videos. It features an integrated HTTP server for transferring images and other media files; a JDBC database interface (tested on PostgreSQL and MYSql) for validating user/password logins; server-side global configuration-file and license management; and more. Client features include a TCP connection to talk to the server; client-side configuration using a configuration file that can be specified in the parameter section; full control over all colors and texts (translate to your own language).

the idea of the program sounded so appealing. and it should be free too
Cons
Simply do not know how to make it work--prg talks of java browser --and connecting to that with a given url.... I gave up--meaning so far--- have used some hours trying to understand how..
