Perform unit conversion using calculator with built in equations.

ScalarCalc is a true Unit Calculator and Unit Converter. Do real math with units. For example, try multiplying 5 pounds(av) and 2 [inches/second/second]. The calculator automatically finds the result with the new units 115.21246198 millinewtons. This result can then be converted to pounds-force. The built in equations make solving common problems simple and when you get your answer you can print your work for future reference. We think that you will agree that ScalarCalc is unlike any unit converter calculator that you have ever seen before. The numerous notes about the units make this a great educational tool. The ability to solve equations with units make this a great engineering tool for quick estimates and a way to double check work. Version 2.0 is expected to be released in December 2009.ScalarCalc is written in Java and will run on all computers that have the Java Runtime Engine (Go to OpenView Design and download the JAR version for operating systems other than Windows) or download the Windows version now and you will be assisted in a Java Installation if you don't already have Java.ScalarCalc is under constant development. Keep an eye open for new features constantly being added. ScalarCalc is completely Free. This is not your ordinary unit converter. What other unit converter can actually do calculations with Units. The simple Set Unit and Convert Unit popup menus make finding units simple. No long lists to scroll through; instead, the popup menu systems categorize and sub-categorize units for quick and easy selection.
