This app compiles selected original newspaper pages, digitized and selected by the staff of the California Digital Newspaper Collection (CDNC) at the University of California in Riverside. It will take you back to earlier tremors in the Californian area, most notably one in 1857, and of course the days and weeks after April 18 in 1906.
