Not as comprehensive as some, this free program gives reminders of daily prayer times for Muslims. With an awkwardly crude interface, Sala automatically determines your appropriate prayer times based on the location you select from its list. Unfortunately, you can't enter your exact location and only large cities are considered. You can configure the program to sound an alarm minutes before or after prayer time begins and a small pop-up window appears as well. Choose from the standard and Hanafi juristic methods, and Sala features an expert mode to adjust the length of prayer times. The program gives the standard value of refraction, but you can configure it by entering the pressure, temperature, time zone, and elevation for accuracy. It also can switch to the summertime mode for total accuracy during the summer months. Although it gives the correct latitude and longitude of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, it doesn't provide a compass based on your locale for correct directional prayer. In comparison to others similar to it, users will want to check out some of the other free prayer reminder tools out there.

Since the computer is taking more and more of our time we have the idea to make this program. It alerts users when prayer time occurs. The alert may be an "ATHEN" which is automatically launched or a window, which is displayed. This program is simple and easy. We hope you will appreciate this program.
