  This is an excellent program, I've used it to recover NTFS 5.0 partitions in Win2k. You have to know how the file system works, this isn't one of those programs where you push "Start" and go get a cup of coffee. If you know the filesystem, this program will manipulate it any way you want.

  going through the big spiel about what it does again, really comes down to 1 thing, recover boot sectors. Didnt do the job for me (seems like NTFS index error).

  I use Linux sometimes, and I tried to configure Lilo. It was unsucessful, because the Lilo deleted the boot sector of my Windows XP partition. So I couldn't start Windows XP (when I selected it on startup, it said that a dll file is missing). I tried many programs to recover the NTFS partition's boot sector, but no one could do that, except this.

  I was unable to try this product. Why? They lied about its size. It is not 1.11 MB. It is 1.55 MB, unable to fit on a floppy.

  I recovered data from a formatted drive with this disk editor. It's nothing out there as powerful as this program.
