Roche ROMAROMA (Risk of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm) uses CA 125 value, HE4 value, and menopausal status to calculate the risk of a patients pelvic mass being malignant ovarian tumor.Among patients presented with pelvic mass, ROMA is more sensitive and specific in identifying ovarian cancer - even stages I/II ovarian cancer - than CA 125 alone.This ROMA calculator App can only be used with results from the Elecsys CA 125 II and HE4 immunoassays from Roche.Patient cases in this App were kindly provided by Dr. Rafael Molina, President of ISOBM.
