Each VOB may contain multiple videos, or one video may span over several VOB files. This cases a problem for file-based video and audio converter and editor software because they will only read the first clip (chapter) in a VOB file. DVD QuickRip will rip the disc to individual VOB files based on chapters. You can easily use the ripped VOB files in a converter software to change to other formats, or even in some MPEG editing software.
