Restores As Advertised!

- Great software if you only have a handful of PC's. I wouldn't recommend this if you have a large group of PC's as otherwise you'll have to go update each one.

- Didn't work 100%. My system wouldn't reboot a couple of weeks after installing. I restored the system and it booted but the system was totally messed up. Not all programs loaded and some wouldn't load at all when clicked on like Thunderbird. In the end I restored the machine to its factory settings (Win8), reupgraded to Win10 and am going to look for another back up option.

Great Time Saver!

- Works as advertised. Tested on a system on which I intentionally changed settings, loaded crapware and a virus or two. Booted in restore mode and there was the original system exactly as it was saved, clean and up to date and configured as needed. Terrific piece of software.

- I manage hundreds of PC's, many of which go out in the wild with technicians who tend to take them home and sometimes "do things" to them. Now if I get a call that their machine "has a problem", they bring it it, I turn on the restore feature, re-boot and it's back as I gave it to them. We are looking into the heavier hitting commercial releases they off as well.

- Keeping a library's computers running is challenging. If you install this software on freshly imaged machines and spend some time learning how to use it, it works. You will have fresh, clean systems every time you reboot. You do have to shut the systems down first and restart, turn the program off, make needed changes, and turn the software back on. One flaw, or perhaps user error: sometimes the new baseline doesn't take, and you have to turn it off and turn it on again, so check the baseline date before shutting down if you made a new baseline. But you do have to invest some time learning to use the program while before putting the clean systems into use. If I were paying I would downgrade the software for the lack of password protection and the inability to allow certain automatic updates. But for freeware, it is a terrific miracle of a program.

- As it is a free software, we can not reliable 100% on it. Hard to understand the functionality and difficult to manage it.

- Rather than depending on free software for restoring important data or system configuration, would like to spend money on software which provide 100% reliability.

- When installing software one of the steps asks to select a partition whoever no option is available to select. If I press next anyways I get a pop that says " The system partition must be protected!"
