It does stop access to any site other than those you've allowed. It sends an email anytime your kids access a webpage thats not allowed (ie all bar the allowed ones)
Cons
Even barred websites show for a few seconds, I'd be upset if my kids saw even a momentary image that was unsuitable. The interface is for very young (ie under 6 year olds, older kids will find it too junior).

I can add whatever they like, and I approve, in terms of websites and I can add software programs I approve of easily for them to access so they can still play all their favourite games. I love getting information on all the sites they have visited (or been denied) and the program allows for expansion for adding homework help sites, etc. I urge every parent to purchase this product and protect their children from all the "bad stuff" on the internet and guard your children against predators.
