RAMDiskXP is a kernel level driver that presents a standard disk drive to the OS; however, it stores and retrieves data from the system RAM on your motherboard instead of an actual, physical disk. Along with the Kernel Driver is a GUI that talks to the driver and allows the user to set various options for disk size, backup, and restore, as well as start and stop the Driver (create or delete a RAMDisk).

Summary
I'm using RamDisk XP 1.7.1 for HAL AI program among other things...I set it to use drive "E:"...i have 1024MB RAM with 470MB set aside for RAMdisk but 512MB is least you should have for RAM. It has option to auto save you RAM contents to harddrive in event of powerloss...it was fully written for Win2k/Xp...i have no problems to report only happiness with it. If you can afford to pay for it don't download the crack/serial cause they deserve to get paid for this program.
