Safari extension that lets you hide any element on a web page.
This is a little Safari extension that lets you hide ("nuke") any element on a web page quickly and easily. Hidden elements do not take up space on the page. Changes are temporary; if you reload the page, the hidden elements will be visible again. So, what's it good for? Perhaps the best use of QuickNuke is to remove unwanted parts of a page before printing it. And there are times when something on a web page just really bugs the crap out of you, but you don't want to bother setting up an AdBlock rule for that element because you don't plan to visit that site ever again.Speaking of AdBlock, I don't want to duplicate its functionality - so there are no plans to implement persistent element hiding in a future version of QuickNuke.Oh, by the way - QuickNuke has one other feature, which is sort of the opposite of its main purpose: You can use it to "isolate" an element on the page - that is, to hide everything except that element. This can be useful when you really want to focus on one thing, or when you want to print just one thing, like an article body or a table. This feature is only accessible using the "extended mode" (see below).
Instant gratification eliminating "default" elements

Pros
I was a skeptic at first, a simple extension that works without too much effort (cmd/option K), getting rid of the "junk" I have never wanted to look at or click on default browser pages. It's actually kind of fun "nuking" items on a browser page. It only took a few minutes of practice to "select" whole blocks of elements to hide.
Cons
QuickNuke is not perfect, meaning, at times it's not worth the effort and tedium can detract from a seamless browser experience. I wish the eliminated elements were relegated to the twilight zone forever. Especially, if I backtrack to a previous page (everything reloads... read: nuisance). No settings/database to keep elements off of pages indefinitely (Oh how I wish!)
Summary
It works, and seamlessly. Forget AdBlock, I can't say that I have ever noticed what it does. Enhance QuickNuke to eliminate browser page elements permanently/indefinitely. It should be incorporated in all browser preferences. It's worth trying in its current form. Either you care, or you don't about default and ad-ridden browser pages. I hope it evolves.

Pros
Hello, I wanted to be the first to download and experience QuickNuke which seem to be a good extension but instead I'm transferred to a page which shows gibberish letters
It appeared yesterday and today.
Sorry for you.
