  I haven't had a virus in the seven years I have used Protector Plus. I found it because I was searching for a program that consumed less resources than Norton, McAfee, etc. I found it with Protector Plus. Not many people know about this anti-virus, but for $11.95 a year, you can "set it and forget it". I couldn't be happier. Good customer service, too.

  Named after a Fake AV/Rogue. Terrible malware signatures. Detected 1 out of 10 8-day old malware. Scanner failed to detect very old malware/viruses. Failed Spycar.org but passed Eicar.org AV tests.

  Summary

  It's funny how these reviewers either post identically and/or are affiliated with Proland. Bottom line:Save your money. Look elsewhere for better protection.
