With the same proven user interface from our Designer Series products, Print Designer Gold is easy to use for beginners, yet powerful enough for experts.

Use the wide variety of tools to add text, graphics, shapes, barcodes, shadows, arc text and other effects to your design. Vary the color and style of any object for an endless array of possibilities. Select an existing layout or add your own for any stock you want to print. Use standard stock or define your own. Link to the built in Personal Database or any comma-delimited text or CSV file or use ADO and ODBC to link to external databases. Use the Field Wizard to create multi-line complex fields such as complete addresses and full names. Use the built-in database filtering to select and print only records that meet selected criteria. Use the Design Wizard to get started in a matter of seconds. Once you basic design is created tweak it as needed or print it just the way it is.

Looks easy, but the controls are terrible.
Summary
Very difficult to click from object to object. Always seemed to end up moving an object I was simply trying to select, or moving an object that was under one I was trying to resize. Every time I clicked from one object to another the whole page would flash off and back on. Tried to align two text boxes and it ended up moving both text boxes to the bottom of the page. It was very slow sending to the printer, almost completely locking up my computer for 15+ seconds. One of the text boxes printed in a completely different font size than what was displayed on the screen, while the other text box printed correctly. This program was exactly what we were looking for in a sign maker, until we used it.

pretty quick to learn, reliable, and versatile starter design programme. Great for amateurs, or people without the need or desire to pay for adobe / quark products.
