I can't comment as to pros because I deleted this software immediately without playing. See cons for explanation.
Cons
It's simple, really. CNET says the game is free, but at the end of the installation process it tells you it costs $24.95 after thirty day. That's ridiculously expensive, and I don't like to be deceived.
Summary
Super product: my main solitaire program for years.
richardtoop
Pros
Huge range of games, nicely presented (no silly gimmicks), with good instructions, record keeping etc. Updated quite regularly, though it scarcely needs to do so.Completely stable, too: I don't think it's ever crashed.
Cons
Really, none that I can think of.
Summary
Best collection ever
jonopo
Pros
ease of use, quality graphics and help is very easy to access and a bargain as well
Cons
I really cannot think of any cons for a program in this category
Summary
I go back with this program at least 10 years, probably 12 or 15. Never had a problem operating it; always got prompt and helpful email support and only paid for one upgrade version in all this time - others were free.
PRetty Good Sol & Pretty Good Mahjongg are great
ChezLaRue
Pros
I've been a license holder of both Good Sol & Good Mahjongg for about 10 years. They are great game suites that load fast and offer seemingly endless games to release tension when I take a break.
Cons
There are so many games I have not had time to try them all.
Summary
Great software, worth the license cost. Stable products that are free of all malicious links.

Summary
I probably will not buy - only b/c I have been burned 3 times on buying something, can not get it downloaded, AND NO ONE WILL RESPOND TO MY HELP ISSUES. I won't do it again!

Pros
the selection of games. Freecell and Penguin are our favorites
Cons
in XP we were able to put icons on our screen so that we could go directly to the specific game we wanted to play. Have not found a way to do this with the new version in Vista. Muet go to a list of all games and select one.
Summary
the variety of games, and the diffeent levels of difdficulty. We use the software to relax and just play rleatively easy games.
