The Persistence of Vision Ray Tracer or POV-Ray for short, is a ray tracer, computer graphics software that can create stunning photo-realistic computer-generated images and animations.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Iâ??m using POV-Ray for more than 10 years (with some breaks), but the mac version is not very useful under Mac OS X 10.2.6. It takes much more time to render the same scene than MacMegaPov or the command-line version installed via fink.
It has a subtile (and documeted) bug with the file open dialog. I couldnâ??t figure out how to use a INI file.
