Used Pop-It Dead for Windows?

Don't bother with this dead on arrival pop-up blocker. Pop-It Dead's interface is certainly simple with four option check boxes and dual list tabs. Don't look for a Help file, you won't need it. It's also doubtful you'll keep this freeware installed. We couldn't get it to block pop-ups during our tests.
With current browsers, blocking pop-ups is a built-in function, which makes this freeware largely redundant from the get-go. This app does offer the ability to allow pop-ups by holding the Control key as you click a link. It also includes an easy method to allow select pop-ups. Detail lovers might like the display of all pop-ups blocked, or at least they would if the program actually worked. During our tests the list stayed empty as Pop-It Dead didn't block any pop-ups from loading.
Despite its ease of use, simplicity isn't important when the program simply doesn't work. Keep your browser's pop-up blocker enabled, and don't bother with this app.
