Publish and create enhanced podcasts.

This application creates podcasts and enhanced podcasts quickly and easily. Podcasts can be uploaded to either a local disk, an iDisk .Mac account or an FTP server. It manages your podcasts by publishing and removing them when they are no longer required. It supports specific iTunes Music Store information such as images, copyright notices, categories and links to web sites. Podcaster publishes podcasts that can be listened to on any iPod, MP3 player or computer. Podcaster will also create 'enhanced podcasts', these are audio files which contain chapter markers where you can include titles, images and web links.The images in these files can be viewed on an iPod with photo capabilities. Enhanced podcasts can be created from movies, an iMovie project and even from slideshows in iPhoto. Podcaster automatically extracts the audio content in the correct format, with a configurable bit rate to save disk space, and also resizes the images to the correct format.

Excellent job and keep going! p.s. Version Tracker's voting system mixes the Support / Documentation in the same response line. for this software, I'll rate Support 5 starts and Documentation 4.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />The combination of RSS feed creator and enhanced Podcast creator is very nicely done in this App. It is very clear what you have to do and you can Podcast the allowed formats of audio, PDF and movies. The implementation of iTunes tags is slick and most importantly the feeds it produces works on iTunes. This app has great .Mac integration so posting to your iDisk is really easy. The program in Beta does not seem to have the ftp implemented and I would like to to see sftp in there too. The enhanced Podcast element of the program is great and the ability to make a Podcast from a movie or iPhoto slideshow is very cool. I would like to see some refinement of the enhanced Podcast section so that I could for example visually slide chapter markers to make fine adjustments to the project. I would also like to be able to preview the enhanced Podcast too. All in all a very promising beta and nicely bug free.
