it emulates outlook pro without the annoying Microsoft BS
Cons
Product support is non-existent-I had to re-install and lost unlock code-they never responded to many emails over a month period.
Summary
I would avoid this product at all costs. They will never help you out. They publish no phone numbers. If you ever need help you are out of luck. Avoid this product!

Bad memory leak, starts at about 9 meg but eats up 40 meg before it crashes, which it does frequently.

I use Outlook at work and Pocomail at home... and I prefer Pocomail. It's a great full-featured email client. Main things I like: <p> <p>1. Very fast search <p>2. Built in Spam filter <p>3. Less worries about viruses <p>4. Cool feature that lets me just download message headers (at times when I travel, I check email via my cell phone - at these times, this is an AMAZING plus for Pocomail. <p>5. I like the fact that mailboxes and all config files are text - it's really easy to move Poco from one machine to another. <p> <p>Pocomail is a very well designed product - there are lots of little features that make using the product very convenient. Hard to explain or list... they would sound trivial... but when you send/receive a lot of email... the little things make a big difference.

I find Outlook better at formatting emails - the editor is slightly better.

I used to like this email client before it stopped updating and stopped updating the international versions. <p>It is still good for english speaking users. <p>It seems to me the company is not working on it anymore but I may be wrong

Crashes when trying to access multiple IMAP folders. Could never keep it running more than 20-30 seconds at a time.

Pros
Probably PocoMail's best feature is the ability to filter spam emails on your server, before they ever reach your computer. Another great feature is the automatic backup of mail files. (As someone who has managed to lose several years worth of emails, this is invaluable.) And technical support via their forums is also quick and efficient.
Cons
It costs money. But then again, good software does.
