Plus 2D is a nesting software for generating optimized layouts and reducing scrap generated by 2-Dimensional Rectangular cutting (Guillotine cutting or shearing) processes. It finds application in varied industries such as sheet metal layout; glass cutting; woodwork; building panel; PCB, and acrylics.

Support for any number of stocks and parts, de-coiling, control over cut complexity, part rotation, detailed layout reports, label printing are just some of the features. The full version additionally supports non-rectangular parts (via DXF), DXF output, automatic offcut generation and tracking, integrated customer and order entry database, parametric part library, support for part assemblies, layout confirmation, detailed customizable layout reports, and cutting instructions.
