Defense of the Ancients, or DotA, is an expansion of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The official DotA Web site, playdota.com, lists all of the heroes used in the game and gives a detailed profile for each one. This Chrome extension makes it easy to save DotA sounds as MP3 files.

Like most Chrome extensions, PlayDota Hero Sounds is easy to install. You'll never even know it's there until you visit a hero's profile and click on the Sounds tab. PlayDota Hero Sounds places a small arrow next to each sound in the list; clicking on the arrow takes you to an MP3 of the file that can easily be saved. That's pretty much the extent of what PlayDota Hero Sounds does. It's a simple extension with a highly specific function, but if you want to save hero sounds for your own use, it works.
