Simple photocopying has already become a thing of the past! A new version of Photocopier Expert has been released. This advanced document management program makes a scanner and a printer work together as an effective one-click copy machine with flawless results. Photocopier Expert (former SimpleCopier) provides the copy preview and enables the user to make necessary adjustments. Photocopier Expert 7 combines a variety of convenient abilities: straightforward photocopying, applying numerous effects, queuing documents for batch processing, saving in multiple formats, adjusting brightness, contrast, hue and more. The documents can be resized, rotated, deskewed (automatically or manually) or printed partially (the selection can be also zoomed). It is possible to choose whether to make a Black and White, grayscale or color copy.

The new version has been considerably accelerated and enhanced: besides other new features it has the ability to save and to load PDF files. Besides, Photocopier Expert 7 supports an on-screen highlight tool, red eye removal and a tool for direct erasing of certain parts of the document. However, effective document management implies much more than photocopying options only. That is why the user can fax documents or email them right from Photocopier Expert. The documents can be also exported to PDF and multipage TIFF. The multi-lingual interface of Photocopier Expert has been improved to facilitate working with the program. Features: Preview zoom. New Optical Recognition module making Microsoft Office no more necessary. Black and White, Gray or Color conversion. Step by step undo. PDF and multipage TIFF save from queue. On-screen highlight tool and red eye removal. Direct erasing of a certain area from the document. Manual or automatic deskew. Built-in picture editor: brightness, contrast, hue adjustment. Emailing and faxing the documents. Batch processing.

Flexible, Easy to use, excellent results

Pros
One of the most useful features is the ability to build a queue of scanned pages and then rearrange them into different order. Also very nice to be able to add new pages to an existing document.
Cons
No scan area setting that matches my HP ScanJet G4010 scanner (12x8.5). Needs a manual to explain how some of the features should be used.
Summary
I have tried several Scan/Copy utilities over the years and this is by far the best I have found.

What I like the most is the ability to store profiles, and use wizard based command line parameters. <p>This is not just a photocopy program, it really does a lot of helpful tasks : <p> <p>for example, I need to automatically scan and save with a date in the filename, with a single shortcut on the desktop, Simplecopier does the trick. <p> <p>The helpfile is not very user friendly but the author responds to questions or evolution demands within the hour (sometimes even a few minutes after I wrote)... That's really what I call service! I also lost my key after a PC Crash, I asked and got a new one in less than an hour. <p> <p>The other feature that is unique is the queuing, I didn't find a software that allowed me to scan many pages and convert them all into a unique PDF. <p> <p>If you just need very simple tasks, it maybe not the best software, freewares do the job. But as a shareware, I have to admit it has by far the biggest feature number a software of this kind can offer. <p>(and still evolving since I bought it, upgrades are free of charge, and fully automatic) <p> <p>Keep going!
