You control American P-40 Warhawks during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Use the Army Air Corps aircraft to defend the U.S. Pacific Fleet from Japanese attack. Try to shoot down as many Japanese aircraft before an American ship is sunk by the Japanese. As seen in the 2001 Ben Affleck film 'Pearl Harbor' and the 1970 film 'Tora! Tora! Tora!' even though the Japanese overwhelmed the defenders in the surprise attack, a few Army Air Corps pilots were able to get airborne to engage the Japanese. There is strategy involved in deciding where to best deploy your P-40s to best counter the Japanese attacks. There is plenty of action as you control your aircraft in real time against the Japanese. The goal is to shoot down as many Japanese aircraft you can. And the game can get addictive as you try to get a better score each time. 7:35 AM, December 7th, 1941, an aerial strike force of over two hundred Japanese naval aircraft, the iron fist of the Empire of Japan, approached the island of Oahu and the U.S. Pacific Fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor Naval Base.Your mission is to defend the U.S. Pacific Fleet from Japanese attack! Can you successfully control the American P-40 Warhawk fighters to defend Pearl Harbor? Can you defeat each flight of Japanese aircraft? How many Japanese aircraft can you shoot down before an American ship is destroyed?You control the U.S. Army Air Corps P-40 Warhawks that launch from Ford Island airfield. Direct them by dragging their flight path around the screen. Direct them toward the attacking Japanese aircraft to shoot them down. Beware the deadly Japanese Zero fighters! They are deadly and fast! It is better to avoid them if you can! Keep your Warhawks active on the screen by directing them toward flights of attacking Japanese bombers. But make sure they don't fly off screen! Once off screen, the Warhawks are no longer under your command! You will have to wait until another Warhawk launches from Ford Island! American ships that have taken 3 hits will begin to blink red!
