Developer’s Description

Protect PDF files with a password.
PDFEncrypt is a free, open-source native Windows app that allows you to password protect (encrypt) PDF files for free, without purchasing expensive software. The software encrypts PDF files which can then be opened with any PDF reader software (Adobe Reader, etc). The user must enter the password you define, before they can access the PDF file. PDFEncrypt supports industry-standard AES-256 encryption to prevent unauthorized access to encrypted PDF files.
