• Does a lousy job

  Fast and easy.

  MINOR: Creates a zillion files, one per PDF and one JPG per PDF page. None are named after the source file, they are just #1, #2, etc. This generates a LOT of tedium later. MAJOR: takes a perfectly rendered PDF (the virtue of PDFs is spot on conversion from many files and many platforms) and converts it into a poor quality JPG. The difference is extreme in conversion of text - text looks washed out, sketchy, pixellated ... in a word BAD.

  Summary

  Perhaps it is not possible to convert flawless PDF files into flawless JPGs. If so, don't sell us software that even tries. This software does a poor job of creating JPGs that look even half good enough. I asked for a refund. Not sure I'll get it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jul 10, 2014<p/>Never Mind! I found the controls to make output DPI as desired AND to force it to output only 1 page per PDF. Thus I can get a full set of JPGs that have the same name as the input PDF. The only problem is I only get one page converted. For my purposes, this is what I want.

  I do agree with another user that creating a new folder for each jpg is a little inconvenient, but for the price, it's not a real problem.

  Quick and easy conversion to any image format that I wanted. Automatically converted a single PDF 15 page document into separate image files without any input on my part

  Easy to use. Quick. Nice quality.

  I chose a folder which contained some 200 pdf files. The program converted each of my pdf docs and labeled each one 0001.jpg and placed each into a separate folder which had the name of my original pdf doc. So, I now have some 200 unique folders, each containing the same file name. I now have to rename all 200 jpg files to have the same name as the pdf doc from which each originated and I have to move each to one folder, if I want the result to be one folder of 200 jpg files.

  Summary

  I believe this program is still excellent. If anyone knows how to do a mass conversion and retain the file names, let me know!
