PCS Media Manager is a Windows XP, Vista, or Win7 compatible app that allows you to create a database of all of your DVDs, Blu-Ray, Audio CDs, VHS tapes, and Games. Use the program to create a combined or separate lists of your collection, and then print the lists. Or better yet, have Media Manager format the list as a PDF and e-mail it to your SmartPhone. Any phone capable of saving e-mail attachments and opening PDF files lets you always have your collection on hand in an alphabetical list so that you don't buy yet another title you already own. Media Manager also has a Web Preview feature - click a button and whatever title you are on comes up in an internal browser window already positioned on the Google page for that Movie, Game, or CD. Nice for looking up names of other actors in the movie or anything else you want to know about it.

No more double DVD purchases at the store

Pros
Pretty app, works like it says it does. Sends a PDF of my DVD list to my phone so I don't have to try and remember what DVDs I already have, I just pop up the list on my phone while shopping.
Cons
Doesn't fit all on my 9" netbook screen all the way, have to scroll up and down sometimes. Other than that it is great!
Summary
I will make up the $9.99 I spent on this app in gas in just a couple of months making trips to return DVDs I bought that I already had. It keeps track of my PS3 games, Blu_Ray discs, and my old VHS Tape collection, too. Sending the lists to my phone is effortless and fast, and the PDF list is easily readable on my Droid. Everyone who has a big media collection and a smart phone should get this app.
