Copy your data from hard drives in high speed mode.
PC INSPECTOR clone maxx is the new professional hard drive copying program from CONVAR. Using the new direct DMA support, data can be copied from hard drives in high speed mode with speeds up to 3.3 GB per minute. This high speed is achieved by PC INSPECTOR clone maxx through intelligent inspection of the PC motherboard and the hard drive controller. The software independently determines the fastest data transmission rate and achieves these exceptional speeds through optimal utilization of the DMA chipset on the motherboard of your PC.

It Works Just FIne, Just a Couple of Things to Watch
BillQuapp
Pros
It worked fine. The first thing this program does is to create a bootable floppy. Thus you MUST have an A: drive. Once I made the floppy, all was easy. My only minor problem was my monitor screen had the left side of the instructions cut off so I had to guess that entering "6" would get me English instructions. From there, one only has to select which drive is to be copied and to where.
Once I had it copying the drive, I left to go rake the Fall leaves. Once I came back in, it was done. I repositioned the drives and the system booted. I used Partition Magic to redistribute the space I had left over after copying.
Cons
Clearly, some type of text file to give an overview of the process would be very nice to have for the first time user.
However, since the program is free, one can't complain.

Pros
didnt have to worry about secondary/primary IDE controllers or jumper switches, it was just "choose source" and "choose Target" and confirm. very nice, for a free drive copy product it works very nicely
Cons
not as fast as it claims, its somewhat sluggish but then again you cant always copy drives on very fast computers. BUT ITS FOR FREEEEE!! just go make a cup of cocoa and relax

Pros
high speed duplication for free, NO,

you have to be able to connect your drives together. Takes a few minutes you know.
Cons
haven't found one yet, other than I still have to manually put the drives in the same system with a high speed controller.
