I have had good results with DVDs and I am able to play MPEG-4 5.1 audio in Windows Media Center with no problems.

installed at least supposedly rips protected dvd's can't say started then crashed after an hour.
Cons
crashed while ripping dvd. takes too long to rip.
Summary
Without an actual chance to use since crashed after ripping for an hour, I wont give such a program a decent rating. If it decides to actual rip and not crash then I will change my rating. But like others I am finding it to be junk when compared to Free studio from dvdvideosoft.com

Summary
Free DVDAid by far the easiest DVD ripper I've ever used. I already bought two other rippers and I hated them both because they were so slow and so difficult to get started. With Free DVDAid app the whole process of ripping a dvd is greatly simplified. I love this product.
